Last night I was out with a few friends. I kind of stumbled from one blunder into the next one, which was actually really funny. Get this: We were sitting at a table and a freind of mine said that she was at the hairdresser's just because of me. Well, of course I was flattered, but as she went on, I felt so embarassed and sorry for her. She said that she was sitting in front of me in a quality management lecture some time ago and heard how a friend of mine and I talked about her hair in a bad way, so she decided to dye them again. But the point is, I was talking about the lecturer's terrible hair. It looked like a dead, ran over animal and I spoke it out loud. We also discussed whether it was implanted or not, as it looked artificial. To put it in a nutshell, I talked really bad about that hair of my professor and my friend sitting in front of me thought that I was talking about her hair. That was so embarassing, and I'm so sorry for how she must have felt. But it was rather funny when I explained it to her...
When we decided to jump to another location I wanted to say good bye to some english guys I met that evening. They were in a good mood, and I had someone to question about London, as I plan to go there this fall fro some shopping. Got some good tips I'll definetly follow. So, back to my next blunder: I just was just about to shake the hand of one of them vigorously, when he suddenly cried out loud. As he told me then, he just got the cast removed from that hand that day, and that I would have presumably broken his hand again. Ok, lesson learned, no more handshakes to brits I just met. :D
Ok, now the final blunder that night: I was driving my car to the next venue with three friend in the car, we were listening to the loud car radio which just broadcasted a party that. The DJ on the radio started to sing 'na-nananananana, na-nananananana' to a song and motivated people to join in on it. It was such a stupid thing to sing, so I turned to my co-driver and told him 'How fucking drunk you have to be to sing that?'. Well, just as I finished the sentence I noticed that he had just joined in singing 'na-nananananana'. Thank god he's a humorous person and he started laughing...
Ok, with this bits from my life I'll say good bye for the moment, I think I'll post some more stuff later on.
Cheers,
Justin
